Alan McGee graduated with a BA Degree (Hons), LLB Degree (Hons) at National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG) before qualifying as a solicitor in 2007.
Alan holds a Law Society Diploma in Insolvency and Corporate Restructuring and a Law Society Diploma in Corporate Law and Governance as well as being an accredited mediator. Alan was registered as Cork's first personal insolvency practitioner (PIP). Alan was a founding member of the Association of Personal Insolvency Practitioners (APIP).
Alan previously served as a captain in the Defence Forces for 14 years gaining extensive overseas experience in Lebanon, East Timor and Liberia. His previous military experience and training adds a high level of organisation and management to caseloads, which contributes to the efficiency and professionalism of the services provided by the firm. As a fully accredited mediator, his overseas experience has given him invaluable experience in mediating difficult circumstances and negotiating with creditors.
